FAQs

What curriculum do you use?

Our Lady of Perpetual Help follows the Common Core curriculum that has been adopted by the State of Ohio. We have additional standards set forth by the Catholic Diocese of Columbus. With a balanced curriculum, students receive an education that embraces a constructive and enriching atmosphere that emboldens them to discuss and live out the values upon which their education is based.

For more information on our curriculum please visit the Columbus Diocese curriculum and courses of study page.

Does our family have to be Catholic in order to attend Our Lady of Perpetual Help School?

Our Lady of Perpetual Help welcomes all students, regardless of parish or religious faith. Our school is a community rich with religious backgrounds and practices. We offer a complete graded course of study in religion, which is taught in grades K-8, covering the basic tenets, beliefs, traditions, and practices of the Roman Catholic faith.  The student body also has the opportunity to experience traditional devotions and practices of the Catholic faith including weekly liturgies, the rosary, Stations of the Cross, Lenten sacrifices, First Friday Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, stewardship, vocation awareness, prayer, and, if Catholic, Sacramental formation. Non-Catholic students are expected to participate in liturgies, religious functions, and religion classes that are all part of the academic curriculum.

Does Our Lady of Perpetual Help School offer tuition assistance?

Members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish may apply for a Parish Grant. Recognizing that some families are blessed with financial resources that others are not, Our Lady offers additional Financial Scholarship to those in need. Non-Catholic families or families from other Diocesan Parishes pay the full tuition rate. Tuition assistance may be available to any qualifying family with students enrolled in the school.
