Ohio’s Educational Choice (EdChoice) Scholarship Program is now accessible to ALL Ohioans! Thanks to sweeping changes outlined in HB 33 and signed into law on July 3, 2023 by Governor DeWine, EVERY student now has the opportunity to attend a participating Catholic school for little or no cost.
In advisement by the State of Ohio, as well as the Diocese of Columbus, we are revising our tuition model for the 2023 – 2024 school year. Effective immediately, we will be going to a flat-rate tuition model, which applies to every student.
To be considered for any scholarship or financial assistance, families can apply for EdChoice*. If you desire to be considered for additional assistance in conjunction with EdChoice, you must also apply for FACTS Grant & Aid**. If a family chooses not to apply for the EdChoice state scholarship dollars available to them to reduce their tuition obligation, we will respect that decision. However, please be advised that any additional assistance will require a meeting with administration before it is awarded.
REDA, Kroger Rewards, and the RaiseRight gift card program can all be used to help offset any remaining tuititon balance! For more information on these programs, please email [email protected] or [email protected].

No family will pay any amount in tuition for the 2023 – 2024 school year larger than their original payment agreement stated earlier this year, as long as they apply for EdChoice.
If, after applying for EdChoice, the amount owed is greater than your original payment agreement, we will use the Emmaus Road Scholarship (SGO) and other Diocesan grants to cover the difference for this year, as long as you apply for EdChoice and FACTS Grant & Aid.
We ask that all of our Jon Peterson families apply for FACTS Grant & Aid, so that we may compare your financial situation to the new EdChoice guidelines and allocate funds and assistance accordingly.
We know there are a lot of big changes this year. If if you have any questions or concerns at all, email [email protected]. We are also happy to meet with you to go over your family’s specific questions and concerns!
* Either the new, Universal EdChoice Expansion program OR Traditional EdChoice
** EdChoice and FACTS Grant & Aid applications must be COMPLETE by September 15, 2023.
