As a result of a law passed in 2021, Ohioans, like you, who make a gift to the Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund are eligible to receive a dollar-for-dollar credit - not a typical deduction - against your Ohio income tax liability, up to $750 or $1,500 if married, filing jointly. The law effectively gives you the power to direct your tax dollars to support Catholic education.
